The short version. For your anifi account we collect your email address and the name you type. We use them to send you your login code and news about our games — nothing else. If you buy merch, Fourthwall runs the checkout and shares that order with us so we can help with it (see Merch). If you join in on Viral Pick, the ideas you post and your first name are public; your votes and reports are not. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't use cookies for analytics. You can delete everything yourself at any time from your account page.
anifi is operated by ROLENGINE LLC. For anything about your data — questions, corrections, deletion, or a complaint — write to hello@anifi.com. A real person reads it.
| Data | Why we have it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To send your sign-in code, and to email you about game releases if you opted in | Contract (your account) and consent (marketing) |
| The name you type | So we can greet you as a person rather than an ID | Contract |
| Game save data | So your progress follows you between devices and between our games | Contract |
| Where you signed up from | To learn which video or page actually brings people in | Legitimate interest |
| Viral Pick ideas, votes and reports | To run the board: show ideas, count each account's vote once, and keep it friendly | Contract |
| Aggregate page visits | To see how many people visit. Cookie-free and not tied to you personally | Legitimate interest; in Europe, your consent |
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your device identifiers for advertising, or anything about you from third parties — except a merch order you place, which Fourthwall shares with us. We don't ask for a password unless you choose to set one for account recovery.
We use no advertising or analytics cookies at all. Our visitor counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't build a profile of you.
If your device is set to a European time zone, anifi.com asks before counting your visit and only counts it if you say OK. Everywhere else, visits are counted right away. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we don't count you unless you say OK. You can change your answer anytime with Privacy choices, also at the bottom of our pages.
The only things we store in your browser are your login session and your game saves (both needed for the site to work, and both cleared when you sign out) and your answer about visit counting.
Videos on the home page play in YouTube's own player. It doesn't load until you press play; after that, YouTube may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Three companies process data on our behalf, and only to do a job we've asked them to do:
We never sell your data, never rent it, and never share it for anyone else's advertising.
Our merch shop at shop.anifi.com is run by Fourthwall, which sells, ships and supports those orders as the seller, under its own privacy policy. When you buy, Fourthwall shares the order with us — your name, email address, shipping address and what you bought — and we use it only to help with that order. We never see your card details, and we never add buyers to our mailing list.
Viral Pick lets signed-in fans suggest ideas for the next anifi beats video and vote on each other's ideas.
If your idea gets made, we may credit your name in the video or its description.
The anifi.com home page shows product photos and prices loaded from Fourthwall, video thumbnails loaded from YouTube and covers of our newest songs loaded from Spotify, so Fourthwall, Google and Spotify see your IP address when the page loads. The lists of latest videos and songs themselves come from our own server. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address the same way. Tapping a song opens Spotify.
Your account and saves are stored in Brazil. Our email provider operates in the European Union. If you're in the EU or UK, that transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for Brazil and on standard contractual clauses with our providers. Merch orders are held by Fourthwall under its own privacy policy.
For as long as you have an account. Delete your account and your email, profile, every save and your Viral Pick activity are removed from our database immediately, and from our mailing list within 30 days. Backups roll off within 30 days too, so a deleted account is fully gone within a month.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
The fastest route for deletion and email preferences is your account page — it's instant and needs no approval from us. For anything else, email hello@anifi.com and we'll respond within 15 days.
If you're in Brazil, these rights come from the LGPD (Lei 13.709/2018, art. 18) and you may also complain to the ANPD. If you're in the EU or UK, they come from the GDPR (art. 15–21) and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Our games and this site are for people aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account, email hello@anifi.com and we'll delete it right away, no questions asked.
If you're between 13 and 18, please check with a parent or guardian before signing up.
Everything travels over HTTPS. Your saves and profile are protected by database rules that make it impossible for one account to read another's data. We don't store a password unless you set one, and if you do it's hashed, never stored in plain text.
If we change how we use your data in any meaningful way, we'll email you before it takes effect. Small clarifications get a new date at the top of this page.
